The city of McCall is situated near the Payette River Scenic Byway and Payette Lake and is an all-season tourist town. The byway can be completed in just less than 2 1/2 hours and has plenty of scenery to take in along the way. It traverses valleys, mountains, several lakes, and the Payette River. With biking and hiking trails at the nearby state park, there is plenty to do in McCall.
Halfway through the byway is Cascade, ID. Cascade, ID sits upon the southeastern shore of Cascade Lake (about 30 miles from McCall). Here you can take a Cascade ID jet ski rental or Idaho boat rental out for an enjoyable ride and enjoy a morning or afternoon on the lake.
